It’s pretty wild to think something I built 9 years ago is so advanced that people *still* don’t understand it today.
But that is precisely true for Thesis, which is the backbone for the Focus ecosystem.
Nobody does #WordPress better; hell, nobody is even close 🔥
It’s even wilder to realize WHY people don’t understand Thesis…
They’ve never seen a true object-oriented program before.
It’s just software that employs *actual* Computer Science principles in an effective manner…
But most “developers” have never seen this in the wild!
In 2012, I predicted #WordPress developers would finally catch up.
I imagined a burgeoning landscape of modular code and properly-employed principles.
But I must have been high.
Because not only has nothing changed, we’ve also doubled down on the wrong methods!
All those big tech companies?
Most of us imagine they are SUPER high tech, super organized, and operating in a way that leverages the most advanced Computer Science principles.
In reality?
They all bang on the same shitty code, and no one has any autonomy.
The mere thought of “code by committee” makes me want to puke 🤮
I make great software precisely because I answer only to myself.
I get ideas; I implement; I test.
As a result, I am agile, and I operate with a level of precision a team could NEVER match.
This is why Focus OmniTweet exists.
I saw a need; I had a vision of the future; I coded that vision into a reality.
No meetings.
No committees.
No consensus.
Just a firehose of ACTION and RESULTS 🔥👇🏿
