BIG IF TRUE 🤯
Alliance Airport (outside of Ft. Worth) was founded by Ross Perot and his son in the late 1990s.
Since then, it’s become a major logistics hub for domestic carriers.
But for international shipping, it’s a secondary player…
However, that may be changing RIGHT NOW, as California’s renewed lockdowns have thrown a wrench into Pacific logistics routes.
International carriers have lost a TON of bandwidth in terms of commercial flights that are no longer happening between Asia’s major hubs and SF/LA.
The rumor is that Alliance Airport may now be stepping up to accommodate flights and freight that would have otherwise gone through long-established routes in California.
Of all @GavinNewsom’s self-owns, this may be the most damaging!
