WordPress is dying. So is your website. What comes next?
Now don’t get all uptight on me. I’ll walk you through what’s happening right now so you can better understand why your website’s future might not include WordPress.
Obviously, the biggest factor right now is AI. But I don’t think anyone has done a good job of explaining what that actually means for you.
Just like me, you’ve probably settled into a specific pattern of how you run your website. But this is where we both need to be honest:
- How updated and relevant is your website, really?
- Does your website accomplish real business goals, or does it just exist?
- How many different services do you pay for to keep your website alive and working?
AI is your superpower that provides ongoing—and ever-improving—answers to these 3 questions. Let’s look at each one.
🤔 How updated and relevant is your website?
I have really nice websites. I don’t update any of them nearly enough. I wouldn’t call any of them “alive” in the sense that I would like (and that would work best for my businesses).
Some information is outdated; plenty of new information could be added; I could tell better stories to prospective customers… the list is endless.
The problem is me. It’s up to me to update my sites. I don’t have a content strategist or anyone working for me who can do this kind of thing (and certainly not on the scale that would work best).
I build things all day. I have 3 kids. I lift weights. I play disc golf. And I’m also honest—I’m not gonna steal from those things to make my websites everything they ought to be. (I’m sure you feel the same way.)
AI fixes this. Maybe you already know this, maybe you don’t, but you can connect your favorite AI to your website and have it do whatever you need to do.
Sure, you can create some new content. But that’s honestly the most boring and least effective thing you can do.
Plus, the stuff you really need to change—like your home page, email signup forms, checkout process, etc.—isn’t always easy to change. Depending on the way your site is set up, a typical “AI for WordPress” Plugin cannot help you here.
Perhaps you’ve already run into this, and it’s why you’re unfazed by a lot of the AI hype. I get it.
That brings us to life after WordPress. I want you to realize what’s happening and where we are.
The reality? You can talk your AI, and it will run your website however you want. It will update the content you never got around to updating. It will tailor your home page messaging to ensure it’s relevant to customers right now. It will tweak your email signup forms to convert better. It will optimize your checkout process. And it will do this as often as you need.
This stuff is complicated with WordPress. But it works like a dream—right now—with PageMotor.
I realize this is difficult to accept. WordPress has been the standard for 20+ years. It’s been the thing we’ve used, almost reflexively, to build websites.
And now this guy who built the first million-dollar WordPress Theme is saying PageMotor is the next big thing? Really?
Well, yes. Really. No one cares about this stuff more than I do. That’s why I built PageMotor. (The best things happen where NEED and PASSION intersect. That’s what’s happening here.)
PageMotor enables you to start winning with AI in ways you never imagined before. You can finally do all the things you should be doing but never had the time to do.
🧐 Does your website accomplish real business goals?
Business is not a set-it-and-forget-it proposition. For a business to work, it must be alive. Fresh content. Real people using products and services. Support. Capturing leads. Onboarding new customers.
Ideally, your website plays a central role in all of these items. But again, we must be honest—that is hard to do, and it requires a level of input most of us are not prepared (or even able) to provide.
Bottom line: Business initiatives change all the time. Your website should reflect these initiatives in a way that is current, relevant, and effective.
But nobody is actually doing this very well. Companies like Apple do a pretty good job, but that’s Apple. They have entire departments dedicated to this kind of thing. You don’t have the time or the budget. You aren’t Apple.
Regardless, you still need a website that stays updated with your marketing. One that’s continuously refined to deliver the right messaging to prospects and customers. You need a website that’s truly alive.
This is only going to happen with AI. Imagine receiving an email every morning with the items that have been updated on your website, and why. Imagine getting a list of action items for the day that will have a real impact on your business.
In short, you need a website operator. That’s AI. And it can only do this with PageMotor. WordPress had a good run and served its purpose, but the rules of the game are changing… fast.
PageMotor is ready to take you and your business into the future right now.
PageMotor enables AI to become your bulletproof business operator.
🛠️ How many different services do you pay for to keep your website alive and working?
Count ‘em up! It’s probably more than you think, especially if you solved some of these painful problems in the past and (rightfully) chose to never think about them again.
Domain, hosting, SMTP service for emails (password recovery, receipts, invoices, etc.), email campaign providers, ecommerce, SEO, bookings, events, payment providers… the list goes on and on.
Simple sites usually have at least 3 of these. Ecommerce sites (of any magnitude) often have 5 or more.
Keep in mind, you actually had to select these components (usually Plugins)… and then make them work together.
That’s the worst part about all this—integrations. Most ecommerce and email campaign providers, for example, weren’t designed to work together. And nothing was built to work with your exact design.
In order to make everything work perfectly for your business, complicated technical integrations are necessary. (If you’ve ever messed with this at all, you know the pain. And the high costs.)
AI can solve this problem, too, but there’s a bunch of hype around it that creates confusion. AI isn’t going to perform the integrations you need—at least not on WordPress. And you’re not going to be using AI to build your own replacements for something like ecommerce or a fully-featured SEO Plugin.
That’s the hype. Possibilities are one thing; actually getting them to work for you is quite another.
The philosophy with PageMotor is different. You shouldn’t have to do a bunch of market research and then hope you chose the right Plugins for your business.
You shouldn’t have to hire an agency to perform complicated technical integrations (and then pull your hair out when you need help in the future).
You shouldn’t have to pay 5 separate subscriptions for services that were never designed to work together… on your specific website.
(And I don’t know about you, but I have subscription fatigue. I am eager to get rid of some of these services where I know I barely use the features I’m paying for.)
With PageMotor, AI performs a more sophisticated role. It selects the Plugins you need (and you may not even know—or care—what they are). It integrates them into your actual design. It delivers real feedback and reports for your business.
You don’t have AI attempt to build you stuff and hope for the best. (But this is what the WordPress community is going to try and do.)
Instead, PageMotor enables AI to become a curator that builds your site. And then it becomes an operator that runs it.
Your business gains an online presence that is updated continuously—effortlessly—and that evolves constantly to better serve your customers. But really, it’s evolving to serve YOU.
You need help. AI can help. PageMotor is the way this actually happens.
No more Plugin subscriptions. No more separate pieces held together with rusty nails, duct tape, and a prayer. No more dying, neglected websites.
Just you, talking to your AI. And it all just works because of PageMotor.
With PageMotor, AI keeps your website updated continuously.
That reality is already here. PageMotor Beta participants are already doing everything I’ve described above.
WordPress will never be able to do this. The way the WordPress ecosystem works (or doesn’t work) ensures things like subscription fatigue will never be addressed properly, and in a way that matters for your bottom line.
Most people are not excited about the prospect of moving away from WordPress. It makes sense! Your experience with websites has been overly technical and complicated. If you got a site working at all, you went through some serious pain. Who would want to go through that again?
But now that you know what’s on the horizon, you’ve reached a critical juncture. You can sit around and wait—and hope—for WordPress. That’s certainly one option. Realistically, you know things are never going to get better.
A lot of problems need to be solved here. WordPress can’t even solve one of them effectively.
PageMotor is different. It’s going to solve all of those problems at once, while also giving you an operating partner for your website that will bring it back to life. And it will end your subscription fatigue in the process.
If you want to experience the magic right now, you can join the PageMotor Beta.
It’s $999. That price might feel like a punch in the gut. But you need to remember a few things:
- How much are you paying in yearly subscriptions to keep your current website running?
- Have you ever had the (unfortunate) experience of hiring a developer or agency to perform complex integrations or design work?
- Is your current website basically dead?
- Do you think anything significant is going to change for the better?
PageMotor is a vote of confidence. It’s you saying, “Yes, my website has a future. And I will have an operating parnter that will bring my website to life.”
The PageMotor Beta gets you exclusive access. Participants will receive the forthcoming “complete website solution” (which includes hosting, a free site build, and optional Agent-based operation) earlier than everybody else and at a forever-discounted price.
You’ll get to experience the future with PageMotor today. You’ll get developer-level access to the PageMotor Forums (which really just means you’ll get access to all the cool AI tools that will build and run your site for you).
You’ll also have access to over 100 Plugins, which will become the building blocks for PageMotor sites in the future. (You will not be paying for these. No separate subscriptions!)
One last thing you need to know: The Beta is closing in August. You’re running out of time to lock in that one-time payment with inner-circle access to myself and other builders in the forums.
Only Beta participants get to test drive and use the AI tools that will eventually be the foundations of the PageMotor ecosystem. We help you get it all set up and working for you.
Check out the PageMotor Beta. Think about it. You already know what you need to do.
